Operation Siberian Tiger TW

Postby King Donut » Sat Mar 13, 2010 6:48 am

Andy C's "Operation Siberian Tiger" from LOSV will be converted to TW. I started on it and Mission 1 of 4 is loaded into TW. 8-)

This should be completed in 2 weeks, maybe less depending on how much time I have and how much work goes into the models. I plan to try replicating the winter enemy skins the best I can and will need GI's help with creating a few new GR2 files.

GI,

Winter models - you and I discussed some of this via PM. I am trying to convert the Rus4 model to winter, not sure how that is going to turn out.

As of Tuesday morning I have all 4 maps rolled-over to TW and loaded each in nWorld. By this weekend or at the end of the weekend I plan to have them fully functional. The only thing left will be the models, perhaps we will get something figured out and the maps will be released the following weekend.

These are very nicely done maps, it has been 2 or 3 years since I played them. Time sure flies by.

What takes the most time is changing the properties from LOSV format to TW. A lot of copy and paste goes on.

I now have the young woman and the old man done. All 4 are in a zip a file in Downloads Territorial Warfare which will extract to a folder on desktop or wherever as ModelsST. They will be updated as the rest are done, also the young man had no ears  so he has been updated already.
The old man still has his beard 8-)
These are all Wolff's skins i am using 8-)

GI these look fantastic, I am free of worrying about models for OST conversion.

Please disregard some of my information in the last PM I sent you. These more than suffice and I am not going to fart around with the Rus4 model any more. 8-) 8-)

We should be thanking Wolff, without him these would not be possible, from me anyway. He did a fantastic job on those skins. It's a pity he hasn't got the tools to do any more skins for us.
Wolff did do a tutorial once on making skins. I will try to find it. It may already be on here somwhere 8-)

It surprised me how well these came out on the EWV models just using copy and paste bit by bit.
