Operation Sand Storm conversion for TW is a conversion of Andy C's spectacular 9-mission mod for LOSV.
Everything needed to play this mod in TW is included in this installer.
All of the weapons and 99.9 percent of the original version has been kept intact.
The enemy models were the biggest challenge, the ones used in this conversion are as close as GI and I can get. I went through the original single player squad files and replicated the weapon assignment in the TW version.
A special thank you to Andy C for creating this mod and also thanks goes out to those involved with creation of OSS for LOSV.
Thank you GI for your help with this conversion and thanks for getting the ball rolling on the enemy models.
Operation Sand Storm remains to this day a spectacular mod for LOSV, it came out just when Kuma War was starting and I think the craftsmanship and gameplay rivals Kuma War. Hope you enjoy playing this mod on TW!

These are the first set of maps to use all of EW-V weapons and AI including the correct voices for all squad members, and the Neutral female voices as well as enemy voices.
Some Objects have been taken out such as lockpicks, and the tripline as they don't work in Territorial Warfare.
The camera has been kept as an item to pick up, and the bottle of chemicals to pick up as well as the documents.
Where a camera is needed it is usualy held by an enemy soldier, kill him and he will drop it.
These 18 maps are large with up to 300 enemy and more so watch out lol.
Converting these was a pleasure as nearly all enemy, and weapons are the same as in LOSV, ENJOY, and many thanks to Darkman, and Reini for all the work gone into the maps.

Technical information:
I used xnView to view and match the DD1-Area9 winter tiles to the DD1-Area1 tiles. It was actually easy to do, renaming the Area9 tiles to the Area1 numbers was the most work.
Was unable to find matches for two sets of 3-way intersections so I used Photoshop to create them.
They are not perfect but look decent.
Grass came from DD1-Area5. Winter textures from DD1-Area9 and some of the trees from the old Cabela's hunting games. What a mixture. I also used Photoshop to put frost on some of the texture and tile files.
Wear a coat when you play this map, enjoy it and use its DB for creating new maps if you want.

This build is based on EWV patched to 1.03 using the 1.00 .exe.
The build has nWorld already in it also.

***NOTES*** MP and vehicles - They do work to an extent.
In coop(or any game mode), the host must enter the vehicle first and the client ,br> second. When exiting the vehicles, the client must exit before the host or the game will drop the client and randomely crash the host.
There is no campaign mode so don't try to play it.
The tutorials however do work so please play those.( we worked very hard on them...)
nWorld and WPGen - When mapping with these new objects, especially the structures, try to use as many of the LOD versions as possible(just trust us on this one guys...)
WPGen is hit-or-miss with the new objects.
It may or may not map them properly....it differs from map to map...not sure why but keep this in mind when placing NPCs.
One tip is to place a wall you are not using in the map around the buildings in the hope that waypoints won't go right under your buildings, then load your map and delete the wall.
****IN FINAL**** During this project, Bass and I have had several lengthy discussions on what is next and we both have agreed that with this mod, we have taken the nFusion engine to it's absolute limits
There's nothing more to be done with it.
We have introduced all new models, sounds, weapons, objects, textures, tiles, menus and just about everything else.
With this being said, we both have other projects that we are now going to be pursuing. We will both still check in from time to time to moderate and do the admin things but as far as nFusion-based mods and maps go, we are hanging it up.
We will be turning our attention to home and family now(they 'say' they miss us...we'll see...) We are however, looking into other games that we can get involved with.
I personally will return to the NovaLogic Delta Force and JO:E games for which I have done several maps and mods as well as modding and mapping for BF2 and BF1942.
So, from Bass and myself, thanks for your patience and we hope you all enjoy.
